Graham McDRecently swapped over from generic cheaper brake blocks and wow!!! I'm a heavy rider and these blocks stop really well in both wet & dry. Not sure how long they last yet, but 4 rides in (80km each) and a really noticeable improvement in stopping distance. Sometimes you do get what you pay for, although I still think they are a bit expensive.

Mrs RatcliffeBrilliant!! I have only ever used the standard Shim brake blocks previously, but decided to try these in advance of a trip to the Alps later this year. They completely surpass expectations. They work well in the dry but were outstanding in the torrential rain at the weekend. Would highly recommend and will buy for Summer bike too
