Rob StoneThese stop so much better than my FSA Gossamer brakes did. Used them on my carbon rims with Swissstop pads also purchased from Merlin and they stop as well as my Aluminum clinchers which shows how good these are.
AmyI upgraded my brake calipers from Tektro Axis to Shimano Ultegra. The ultegra calipers are more responsive to braking on steep downhills, meaning I quickly come to a stop so I feel they create a much more safer riding experience.

The Ultegra brakes are probably cheaper than the TRP brakes but the modern technology makes these feel like the more expensive of the two. Would definitely buy again.
