ThomasQuite simply the best bar tape I’ve used. Can’t say I’ve noticed any difference between this one and V1, but V1 was brilliant. There are easier bar tapes to put on (if you stretch it too much you lose the full cushioning effect), but it’s well worth the effort. It’s on all my bikes, and all of my wife’s bikes.
Mr wardLizard Skin bar tape gets lots of positive reviews so I thought I would try it after many years of cork tape. The 2.5 has good cushioning as you get with cork but the USP is the feel of the tape which is very tactile. Plenty of you tube to explain how to wrap it and I found it very easy to get a great finish.

AC_HKGGrippy and soft; absorbs sweat well. Difficult to clean if you use a pale colour. However it isn't expensive, so replacing it a bit more frequently isn't a problem.

SimonHave used previous version of Lizard Skins 3.2mm bar tape and although excellent feel and comfort it did wear quite quickly around the hoods. Time will tell with V2 and slightly thinner 2.5mm option as found 3.2mm tape quite bulky. Be careful to not stretch the tape when installing as per instructions.
