Hope Seat clamp with built in cable guide to use with dropper post
As more people are using dropper seatposts kinked control cables is becoming a common problem. After a study of the issues, we have designed a simple solution utilising a product we already manufacture. Our new seat clamp has the addition of an integrated cable guide using a plastic ball joint to allow snag free movement of the cable.
Mr MaunderIf you still have an externally routed dropper post this is for you, very well made and easy to fit.
Mr garavagliaGood seat clamp for dropper post with external cable. Easy installation.
Graham RArrived very quickly by today's standards. A little tight initially but a good fit nevertheless. Had to pretty much take it apart to get the dropper cable through the cable guide, but once it was all fitted it was OK. It looks good and it works well - dropper cable was originally getting "buzzed" by my rear tyre but now the guide directs it well out of the way. Well-worth the money and it looks good on my bike which has other red anodised parts.
HakoInstalled a Reverb B1 this made the cable routing neat. Smooth feeding of the dropper post cable when dropping my seat.
RobMGood quality clamp. Handy cable guide. Matched my colour well. Not too dear. Can't complain.
Mr BrownPicked up one of these to go with a Rockshox Reverb dropper post. Glad I did. Holds the cable cleanly and smoothly, and Hope quality means it isn't going to snap on me. It also meant I only needed 1 zip tie for the rest of the cable length. The 34.9mm fit my 2013 Scott Spark 920 perfectly.
