DavidDefinitely an upgrade over the six year old, and 24,000 miles of use Dura-Ace shifters that I was using. Shifts are now very crisp, and precise. Only complaint is that the profile on these is smaller and I have large hands so when I am sweating all over the place in the lovely Houston, TX summer heat I have to grip the smaller handles tightly when down-shifting lest my hands slip off . Other that these are great shifters and two thumbs way up!!!!

One oddity compared to 7900, the rear derailleur shift up when the lever is released, unlike 7900 which shifts as soon as the lever is pressed. Except from 10 to 11 (the smallest cog); that shifts as soon as the lever is pressed. Takes a little getting used to, but works very well, and is comfortable. I love the increased reach, the lever is reachable in the drops without stretching or adjusting grip. Fast shipping,

Mr MolnarI had an Ultegra levers (6800) before, the Dura Ace (9100) levers are lighter, more comfortable and also works well. A little bit expensive, but the sale price is really good for me. Top design, and high quality.

Mr RPVery happy with these! They're expensive but compared to 5800 levers, these are way better (as they should be)! Very light shifting action with short pad movement. I can shift the front derailleur only with the index finger almost without any effort! And I'm using these shifters with 105 5800 derailleurs...
