Meanwhile, side panels, shoulders and sleeves made from stretch waterproof fabric give it an aerodynamic fit and eliminate flapping.
Pockets with drain holes, fully taped seams, a waterproof zip and stretch wrist closures all work in tandem to seal out rain, while an elastic waistband holds the jacket in place as you ride. Meanwhile, reflective trim keeps you visible when the light is dim or fading.
Finally, if the rain hasn't quite started when you set out or suddenly stops, this jacket packs down easily into a jersey pocket, making it the perfect just-in-case outer for when you aren't prepared to let foul weather get in the way of your training.
