Fizik Tempo Argo R5 S-Alloy Road Saddle
Tempo Argo is a short-nosed saddle designed to offer endurance cyclists greater stability and better weight distribution. Tempo Argo has been engineered to deliver a riding feel that suits the balanced geometry of today's all-purpose road machines. Its short-nosed design and ergonomic cut-out relieve soft tissue pressure. The padding is made from fizik's Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the ischial sit bones area to support a more upright riding position. The cushioning is softer and more progressive than the type used on fizik's racing saddles, providing long-distance comfort. Tempo Argo R5 comes in S-Alloy alloy-railed R5 specification, available in two widths: 150mm or 160mm.

Features
  • Argo: versatile short-nose saddle that encourages stability and relieves pressure on soft tissue area
  • R5: a combination of a ride-compliant carbon reinforced nylon shell and an S-Alloy rail.
  • Wingflex: the shell's side edges flex and adapt to rider's inner leg movement
  • Type 2 foam: progressive cushioning, with lower compression modulus

Specification
  • Length: 260mm
  • Width: 150mm / 160mm
  • Height at 75mm width: 43mm
  • Length from nose to 75mm width: 103mm
  • Rail: S-Alloy 7x7mm
Mike Batley Now used several times for rides up to 3 hours. Feels good when you first get on the bike. Firm ride but plenty of options to find the best place for climbing, flat roads etc. Will stick with this saddle (previously used the same model for 20+ years) as I'm perfectly satisfied with the performance.
Mr Littlewood Comfy saddle - significantly more comfortable than the standard saddle on my road bike. It's fairly light, and feels well made. Nothing to complain about at all
sean Decided to give a shorter nose saddle a go. Been riding longer distances this past year and it gets a bit uncomfortable after a few hours on my previous saddle. Choose this after looking at a few reviews and on arrival and a few rides in it does seem to do what it aims to do. Good quality and a decent price.
Mr Glenn Very comfortable saddle and very good price. Took me 1 week to adjust on a new saddle. This saddle matches my wide sit bones.
Nicki from Dubai It is comfortable when you start riding and it is even more comfortable at 50km into your ride. I don't think Anyone can make a complaint about this saddle when comfort is the topic.
Davor Very good saddle, I use it for commuting, so far very happy
Martin Cycling a bit more this summer and dropped the bars a touch which was causing some discomfort! Went for a slightly wider and shorter saddle from Fizik and only wish I'd done it sooner, much happier!
Luke Got the 160 based on Fizik’s measurements and guidelines. It’s a Beautiful saddle. Very well made. Mounted on a forward offset seatpost this is the most comfortable and fastest I’ve been. Even on a zero offset seatpost I couldn’t get the position right, fortunately you can flip Cyrano seatposts round. That said it’s hard as nails and it’s taken some miles for it to bed in a little and it just doesn’t work with some of my bibs because of seat pad placement. Fine with Le Col and Rapha though. Can’t see any reason to try any other saddles in the future this size and shape is a win for me but like all things one mans heaven is another mans hell but if you’ve wider sit bones and like to adopt a more forward position this saddle could be worth a look.
