If you are very spinally flexible (far less than 90 degrees between your straight legs and your back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders' width apart), you are a Snake. You achieve the performance position using your spinal flexibility alone, not rotating your pelvis at all. You will like the flat, narrow and long shape of the Arione.

Firm yet supportive and that cut out is a godsend for those of us with larger thighs, this is my second Arione and from here on in won't be buying another brand, there is a reason you see so many of these under the pros.
GrumpyOldPizzaNot too much to say about that one. Install the Fizik app on your phone to find out what type you are (Bull, Chameleon or Snake), and whether you need "normal" or "large". And then ride this thing a few hundred miles before making a call. The saddle adapts to your body, so it will not be comfortable the first hundred miles. But after that it's a killer. Been between Antares and Arione (unrelated back issues), and between large and normal (weight issues). And Fizik's spine concept makes a huge difference selecting saddles, and quite frankly seems to work. Anyway, R1 as a summer saddle, R3 as a winter saddle. Difference is weight.
