Hope Technology, ‘Made in Barnoldswick’ in the UK was established in 1989 by keen mountain bikers looking to employ similar technology used in motorbikes to the manufacture of mountain bike components, in an effort to improve their own riding experience. Hope expanded from manufacturing purely in aluminium, to carbon fibre and a range lightweight and tough components. Hope then progressed to develop carbon fibre mountain bike frames and the amazing 2020 Olympic Track cycling bike - the HB T.
