Mr HuddAs I haven't seen anyone on the road with this helmet I was unable to compare it to anyone else as I have a roundish head I was a little concerned about the fit but took the chance anyway as I love the way it looks in the pro peloton. I needn't have worried as although the padding is minimal it fits me perfectly and doesn't have any of the mushroom look you normally get. I have had quite a few admiring glances and comments about the helmet which is in blaze red. As for ventilation I have found it very good on days of up to 29 degrees which is not the hottest but as no Foreign trips for a while unable to check on very hot days but I am confident it will be comfortable enough for me. All in all an excellent purchase for me in my opinion.

Mr JonesGood looking aero helmet. Amazing colors but not much padding on the inside compared the Kask helmets I’ve previously worn. You get used to it though and after 1.5 weeks of wearing it I love it. I was expecting a helmet bag for the price.
Mr FordThis is the best helmet ever. It’s replaced a five year old s-works evade. The helmet is very light and has plenty of adjustments. As far as the aero part it is what it’s called “Gamechanger “. The steel blue colour is stunning. I would highly recommend! The service I’ve received from Merlin Cycles has been exceptional.

Joe GArrived quickly, felt very light and comfortable straight out of the box with minimal padding and a slim profile that suits my narrower head much better than the "mushroom" shape of my previous lid. After 200km I can vouch for the aero features - it feels much more locked in when you're hunkered down and doesn't catch crosswinds like open-vented styles. Haven't noticed any issues with ventilation, the front and top vents channel cool air across the top of the head nicely, even on hotter days. Best feature is the AirPort eyewear dock at the back with moulded slots inside the lid for the arms of your glasses to fit securely. Some have noted the center "lump" inside pressing on the top of the head - This is a symptom of plonking it on your head and doing up the straps before the retention dial. Just lift it to your forehead, dial in the retention first until you have a snug fit, then do the chin straps up last.

AndrewVery pleased with this helmet. The quality of fit and finish is top notch. It looks good and is very comfortable. Some reviewers comment on feeling the helmet pressing on the very top of your head, and it's true that you can feel it, but its perfectly comfortable - for me anyway.

Ed WalesVery comfortable, lightweight helmet. Minimal padding and narrow design suited my head shape. Straps are snug and comfortable even over long rides. The aero element is noticeable in terms of reduced drag in both cross and head winds - been a lot of those recently! I imagine it will get hot on longer rides with the sun out and a lot of climbing on the cards, but I’m in England so how often is that likely to happen? Added bonus: the red colour-way looks great and matches my Trek Emonda perfectly! Haven’t used the sunglasses holder at all as the goggles tend to stay on my face to combat the flies this time of year.

Having worn it for a few rides like the air flow through the vents, good adjustability for head size and straps but despite that it does seem to rest on the top of my head (my be that a Large is just too big for me). Have seen others with the black colour which looks very stylish, although I went for the bright orange - which is bright.
