Mr BISHOPThe 32t middle ring for the SLX chain set is excellent. It lasts much better than the butter-soft aluminum most Shimano middle rings are made of. The weight penalty for using steel for this ring is minimal and the composite reinforcing ring hs better ramps than the pressed aluminum ring used on XT and XTR models.
I wish they did a36 ring for the hybrid 26,36,48 set as well.
JamesDon't worry if the packaging says this is an LX chainring - it's the right chainring for SLX 9 speed chainsets. Good value for money, works fine with my new SRAM chain.
