Wide Hookless bead Technology
Featuring Enve's Wide Hookless Bead technology, the Enve 45 disperses any impact from pot holes, curbs and debris over a wide area, reducing the likelihood of pinch flats.
Enve Foundation Road Hub
The Enve Foundation Road Hub features Enve's core hub technologies. The hub shell uses simplified machining without compromising flange geometry and wheel build stiffness. The drive mechanism uses Instant Drive 360 technology and a 40T ratchet to deliver responsive engagement, minimal drag, and low maintenance performance. The bearings are premium full contact sealed NTN steel bearings. The Rotor attachment is centre-lock.

AndrewI must admit to being a little nervous about spending this much on wheels when alternatives are cheaper. However, I've really enjoyed the first couple of hundred miles. They feel very smooth and comfortable - I imagine thats the lower pressures. The built quality looks and feels excellent. Am I faster.. nah, but I look and feel faster. And that's what counts, right?
PercySuperb wheels!!!! Bearings in the hubs are excellent quality, free hub engages really quickly. Make no mistake, these are a really fast wheelset on the flat and after a ride in the peaks , great for climbing. Only draw back is the rim tape is too wide when making tubeless. Optimised for 25mm tyres but I’ve mounted 30mm schwalbe pro one addix tyres with no loss of speed due to the increased rolling resistance. Unbelievably comfortable, especially on British roads which are deteriorating rapidly. With £277 discount, these are a amazing buy.
