Clif Bar was started in 1990 when the founder Gary was out on a bike ride and whilst munching on another brands energy bar thought ‘I could make a better bar than this’. His mission was simple, to make a great tasting energy bar; the first bars took almost two years to create with Gary taking time to refine his recipes and to this day Clif Bar are still striving to make things better but not just energy bars, a better company and even a better planet. Clif use wholesome ingredients in all its products; you will not find any hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup in any of its energy bars. Using ‘kitchen crafted performance’ in all its energy bars Clif products contain nutritious ingredient’s that aid performance and deliver a great taste whether you’re embarking on an epic bike ride or just exploring some new trails.
