Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M Tyres
Gravel riding is very popular with all the members of staff at Merlin, and Julie who works in our warehouse has asked for a pair of Pirelli gravel tyres suitable for winter conditions. The Cinturato Gravel M feature an aggressive tread pattern, are tubeless ready and available in a variety of sizes. An excellent choice for mud and wet trails.
4iiii Powermeter
Matt, our resident time trial rider has asked for an extra 20w. Whilst we can’t help him with this, he has instead opted for a 4iiii Powermeter so he can at least see how he is performing! Available as either single sided or left hand, 4iiii are used by World Tour teams and I’ve been personally using them myself for a number of years.
Ridley Noah Fast
Our Warranty Manager, Julian, has clearly been a well behaved boy this year and is asking for a Ridley Noah Fast. A top-level aero road bike, the Noah Fast has been used by riders such as André Greipel and Robbie McEwen, and is perhaps one of the fastest bikes in stock at Merlin. Available in a variety of options from frame only to top end Dura Ace Di2 builds, it is the ultimate choice for someone wanting to race in 2025.
Kalas Start-Finish Zip Off Tights
Our wizard on the fork lift, and the first to see exciting new products coming in is Andy from Goods In. A mega keen cyclocross rider you will often find him in a muddy field, in the cold and wet. He’s already got his eye on the Kalas Start-Finish Zip Off Tights which are perfect to keep legs warm before a race and easy to quickly take off on the start line.
QUOC Shoes
Martin in our workshop is currently building up a beautiful new road bike ready for summer, and to go with this he’s asked for a new pair of shoes. Normally a man who goes for Italian style, he’s instead gone for a pair from British brand QUOC. Martin is pictured with the performance packed Escape Road cycling shoes which have a carbon composite sole, single dial closure and clean aesthetics. A very popular choice!
Reverse Components Beer Can Holder
It’s no secret that most of us at Merlin like to have a post-ride beer, and can usually be found at Rivington Brewery. Thanks to the fantastic guys at Reverse Components you can now also safely transport a takeaway beer back with this nifty little 3D printed beer can holder. It bolts straight onto the bottle cage mount and will safely hold any can until you get home! Matt from our Warehouse is celebrating early!
