It’s peak cycling season, and we want to share with you some of the exciting new products to have landed here with our Goods In team here at Merlin over the past few weeks. It’s a good one, so settle down with a brew and feast your eyes on what is live on site.
Kicking off the fresh products this week is this absolutely stunning carbon road racing bike from Felt. Featuring a 12-Speed Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, Reynolds wheels and Easton aero handlebars, this is a bike built for pure speed. With aero-optimised tube profiles this is potentially a great crit-racing bike or for any rider who enjoys the thrill of speed. I was lucky enough to ride one on our recent photoshoot and was seriously impressed.

As well as being fitted on the above Felt, we’ve also taken a full range of the Reynolds road and gravel wheels. Featuring carbon rims with up-to-date wide rim profiles, the entire range is aero-optimised for speed but shaped to counter cross-winds. Tubeless ready and all disc-brake compatible they are all fantastic wheels that spin freely and sound amazing.
A new addition to the Merlin shoe line-up, we are proud to be now stocking QUOC shoes. As worn by Geraint Thomas, the shoes are one of the coolest looking brands on the market and have options for both road and offroad riders of all abilities. The staff here at Merlin have got very excited about these and have already bought some!
The latest edition to one of the best tasting ranges of energy products, the Jellies are an easily edible option that provides a 30g hit of 2:1 Glucose:Fructose Carb energy in 3 delicious flavours of either Orange, Lime or Berry. We all sampled these on a recent staff gravel ride and feedback was excellent.

This years bright and colourful Limited Editon tyres from Panaracer have landed with us and as always, these sell quickly. Featuring brightly coloured tread patterns across a wide range of the popular treads they are a great opportunity to customise your bicycle and add a pop of brightness.
Hutchinson Blackbird Road Tyre
The Blackbird was once one of the fastest long-range planes that graced our skies, and if these tyres match the claims from Hutchinson, then these are going to be one speedy option for the road bikers. Available in tubed and tubeless versions in Black and Tan walls, they have been in development for a number of years. First impressions are they are light, grippy, and look fantastic.
The world has gone waxing mad, and thanks to KMC life just got easier. No requirement to strip and clean a new chain thanks to these 12-speed pre-waxed chains. Available in 3 colours the waxed chains offer super clean and efficient drivetrains as well as extra watt saving.
