For most of us we are more than happy to ride our bikes at the weekend or to save money on petrol and commute to work. We all love our bikes and they provide endless hours of fun and practical transportation for us all. Some of us even take it a step further and cycle around Europe in the summer or raise money for charity by doing “John O’Groats – Lands End”. But for some riders that isn’t enough and they have to take it one step further, they have to break a record, they have to go down in history, in short they have to push themselves to the limit.

Not content with riding a MK1 Raleigh Chopper over Mount Ventoux (and over taking 41 cyclists on road bikes in the meantime) this guy pushed it one step further and went for the hour record. All the in the name of charity too!
