Backcountry Research Mutherload Strap
The new Mutherload maximises all the benefits of their dual-shockcord retention system with the versatility and adjustability to mount what you want, where you want it, anywhere on your frame. This strap stays in place even when you’re riding the most demanding XC/Enduro race courses and trails out there. Super-lightweight and constructed with rugged materials, the Mutherload strap is available in plain black or a choice of patterns or colours.
To Load:
Simply center the inner tube on the grip-strip and pull the dual shockcords up and over the ends of the inner tube to lock it down. Flip it over and slide in your choice of inflation, multi-tool or levers.
To Mount:
Place your bundle where you want it with the tube and shock cords facing the frame. Feed the slack end through the contoured loop and reef.
Compatibility:
Sized to fit a standard 26", 27.5" or 29" inner tube by itself or with 1-2 16g Co2 cartridges, 1-2 20g Co2 cartridges, 1-2 25g Co2 cartridges, multi-tool, mini pump, levers or whatever combo you want.
KevinCarries a spare ttube a pump and multitool. has never dropped anything
Mr BrennanVery strong and robust, holds items very securely
Mr CannExcellent enduro style strap, secures my inner tube etc to frame without issue.
Mr PacholczakGood quality strap, very happy with my purchase.
JCracking bit of kit. Put it anywhere on your frame and away you go. Tube, pump, multi tool, snack bar and leavers in one small package. Hasn't moved at all on the many rides it's had. Even a way of carrying a spare beverage if you feel so inclined. J
DanGreat product. Gets rid of the need for a saddle bag.
BenThe strap is very useful, it holds the inner tube and the tire levers fixed.
Paul RLooking good quality, stays close to the frame so you don't notice it's there
DaveEasily holds a tube, tyre levers, co2 and a small pump/co2 hybrid. Holds to the frame very firmly.
A bit expensive for what it is though...
BikeMadAnother great product from Backcountry Research which is well made and fully functional
HSimple, and easy to figure out product. Find mine works best on the lower downtube, where it doesn't move if fitted tightly. There's not much to it, but it does look better than a bunch of cable ties!
Mr MasserThese things are ace. I always like to take a rucksack and pack everything so it took a while to get used to but held great through some rough trails, and that's on a hard tail.
Mr MeacciThis is a perfect strap for tube and tyre levers.
