Abus Bordo 6500 Granit X-Plus Lock
The range-topping Bordo 6500 folding lock, part of the Granit X-Plus range, features the ABUS X-Plus cylinder for maximum picking protection and greater ease of use. The lock is manufactured with 5.5mm hardened steel links so it will resist the most brutal attacks. At 85cm long, its concertina-style construction offers a multitude of fixing possibilities to lamp posts or other fixed objects.
Can be attached to your frame. Supplied with 2 keys (one with integrated LED) and a key code card for cutting additional or replacement keys. The Bordo Granit 6500 X-Plus is Sold Secure Gold approved.Features

It is not very large compared to others (5-10 cm more would have been optimal), but it does certainly a great job.
Mr Guimarães de Medeiros Heavy steel, feels really secure when you lock your bike. It is more convenient than a U lock, but would be even better if it were 10 cm longer.
Sylwia I bought this because Ineeded a gold secure lock for my insurance. But since using it my bike is still mine and the peace of mind it gives is a godsend. Love how strong this lock feels.
Pretty heavy, but that's what I signed up for. Should have no problems with any but the most determined thief.
Nice and compact and I really like the fact that it comes with a carrying case. The lock slips in and out of the case easily and stays there with no risk of falling out. The case was super easy to put on my bike, which was just a matter of screwing it into the braze-ons for a water bottle cage. Does not come with screws.
Be aware if you are using the case with the straps and not the bottle cage mount, it can scratch the paint with the vibration.
